Sebastien Clamorgan (Venia International): Eat’n’go’s “Feeding the Frontline” initiative

“Feeding the Frontline” is the charity initiative recently launched by Eat’n’go, the Nigerian food operator headquartered in Lagos. The Group, which is in a joint venture with Sebastien Clamorgan‘s global firm Venia International, is providing food for essential workers during the Covid-19 crisis: so far, indeed, 6,500 workers who are on the emergency frontline – including doctors, nurses, police officers and other security agencies – have been reached by the project, which made it possible to donate more than 13,600 slices of pizza, 10,000 cups of ice cream, and 800 cups of yoghurt (worth 23 million naira value of products). “Today“, Eat’n’go wrote in a statement, “we say thank you to the people who stay at their jobs so we can stay safe at home“. The restaurant Group, which is the leading franchisee for Domino’s Pizza, Cold Stone Creamery, and Pinkberry Gourmet Frozen Yoghurt, added that “Since the rise of the Covid-19 global pandemic, we have witnessed the rise of heroes across the countries – the doctors, nurses, police officers and other security agencies. We throw a salute to these MVPs; our very own Heroes“. The statement concluded by saying: “Thank you for your selfless commitment to our community. We are grateful for you! We will continue to support you“. “Feeding the Frontline” is one of the projects carried out by Eat’n’go in the social field: the Group, indeed, in addition to being dedicated to bringing Food & Beverage brands to Africa, is active in promoting social initiatives for development in Nigeria.
Part of a joint venture that includes Sebastien Clamorgan’s global consulting and investment firm Venia International as a shareholder, Eat’n’go started its operations in 2012 and, since then, it achieved market leadership and became the premier food operator in Africa.
